All About Amelia…

I am Mother.

My two beautiful boys Jarrod and Sam, they are the very best thing I achieved in life.

Jarrod is a champion and a good looking rooster, those are the last words he hears from me as he exits the car for school each day. They have been for the last year and I hope they will be until the day I can speak no more. He has an amazing sense of justice and what is fair. He is not afraid of letting you know when life falls short of his standard! He is sensitive and caring and he is the most wonderful, attentive, encouraging and nurturing big brother (BB)  in the world! I am in awe that he is my child but oh so very proud!

Samuel is just 9 months old. Waiting for him was one of life’s hard journeys. Any epic story has it’s heartbreaks, and it’s periods of relentless hardship but I can be nothing but grateful that this particular story ended with joy of the most profound kind. He is a soul of deep love, he inspires in others a softening of the heart. For how can one view such a smile and not see once again that the world does still contain wonder and innocence?

I am Writer.

Of what? Well that is a concept still very much in flux. I loves to tell stories, however I am just as excited by the prospect of writing a on a birthday card! I think I have an innate ability to capture the essence of what needs to be said and finding the right way to say it. Be it the ethos of a corporation striving to define themselves to their market, or a blog that will capture the imagination of the reader I love the feeling of fulfillment that comes with crafting a piece of writing.

My journey in the world of writing is one of discovery and wonder. The idea that behind every door is a new experience and opportunity for me to expand, create, and inspire through the written word is both thrilling and scary, I know I’m bound to stumble now and then but hey who hasn’t?

I am…
